Wychmere Beach Club Wedding - Cape Cod - Alison and Peter

Within days of meeting Alison 17 years ago, I knew we’d be friends for life. Generous with her warmth and her baking, quick to laugh or provide a punchline of her own, effortlessly kind and compassionate, not to mention incredibly talented on the stage and in the kitchen, she is like the sparkly Superwoman of friendship and goodness. All who meet her are drawn to her, and I consider myself lucky that I get to have her in my life.

When Peter a.k.a. The Professor came along, there was always a giddy lightness in Alison when she spoke of him and when she was with him. Peter is kind, smart, grounded, and he came with an adorable pup named Hobbes. As was mentioned at the wedding over and over, Peter makes Alison more Alison. He makes her bright light shine even brighter. He is funny, sensitive, caring, and I actually think they both got a great deal in this equation.

Alison and Peter, I’m honored to be in your lives, and I am thrilled that I got to spend your entire wedding day with you. Most of all, I’m just so incredibly happy that you found each other and bring each other such clear and obvious joy. Not only do you fit and make sense together, you have that special extra sauce that makes you an inspirational couple. You are a team, and I’m so glad that team is now official.
