The Foundry Wedding – New York City Photographer: NYC – Maddie and Jeff

“And now, Maddie has recorded something special for your first dance.”

The DJ’s announcement took everyone (except Maddie) by surprise, and moments later we were all being serenaded by the bride’s stunning voice as she and Jeff shared their first dance. Like the newly married couple, Maddie’s voice was easy, beautiful, and full of warmth.

Other surprises throughout the evening included a Van Leeuwen ice cream truck (yes, please!) and a classic cab that rolled in for the couple’s getaway at the end of the night.

Something that was not a surprise, however, was how incredibly dreamy the day was. Every step of the way with these two has been easy and fun, and the wedding day was the pinnacle of all the goodness.
