I’ve been to countless Jewish weddings and many same-sex weddings, but this was the first gay Orthodox Jewish wedding that I had the honor of attending and photographing. It was revolutionary in a way, since it was one of the first of its kind. Still, the fact that it was a gay Orthodox Jewish wedding couldn’t overshadow something else that happened that day:
Nadiv and Ariel, two glorious human beings with hearts of gold and overflowing kindness and humor, married each other.
Nadiv and Ariel, you two have been a pleasure from your very first email. Your love is equally bright and playful it is deep and grounded. Your thoughtfulness and kindness for each other and those around you is inspiring. Your wedding was overflowing with celebratory joy, and I feel lucky that I got to experience and photograph such pure love.
I’m thrilled about your photos; I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!
